It's been a really long day.

it's been an incredibly long day today, most of which i spent being extremely bitchy. i went to sleep too late, woke up too early, didn't have any coffee, got stuck in traffic, got lost because of shitty directions and then sat in a doctor's office waiting room with a crackhead for ninety minutes. and on top of all that, i still have not found a job. i should have chewed a bottle of midol or something and went back to sleep. but alas, it's now 12:40 in the morning, i still haven't had coffee, am seriously ready for bed, and just smiled for the first time today. i smiled when i saw this photo on molls' blog with the caption, "i can imagine that they would be the first couple to spoon in the white house. ever." i can't decide exactly why it made me smile, but it's probably true.

it was probably the word 'spoon' ~ it made me smile, too.

I'm not really the type to laugh at other people's misery but the thought of you rolling your eyes trapped in a waiting room with a crack addict for an hour and a half after no coffee/crappy traffic/little sleep/bad directions did make me burst out laughing. What a picture you painted!

What kind of job are you looking for?

i can't even describe the situation with the crackhead. in a total of 5 minutes i knew her ENTIRE life story and was able to reasonably assume that she was only at the old indian doctors' office to try and score some heavy prescription drugs... i'm SURE of it.

i'm a chef. a restaurant manager. but right now, i'll do anything. i even tried wal-mart, but was told that, wait for it, "i don't have the experience." LOL.
