Dear Jesus, Welcome Back...

Monday, March 24, 2008

in between nibbles of carrots and rabbit hooves during dinner last night, on easter of course, my mom cut open a potato and suddenly beams of light blinded me from across the table. jesus himself left a sign in our boiled potatoes, as if to say "this is the most divine potato you shall ever consume." in actuality, it was the dryest potato i'd ever eaten, but i sucked it up and ate it because it was from jesus. my mom of course, having seen the virgin mary on french toast for sale on the internet, said "oh take a picture, we can sell it on ebay!" i quietly responded by slicing the potato cross in half and plopped it into my mouth.

thank you jesus, i hope you enjoyed your visit back to your homeland of mexico to visit your family, but i sure am glad to have you back tending to our gardens! the potatoes could use a little work though...
